We develop computational methods for condensed matter physics based on a wide range of technologies, from quantum many-body theories to quantum/classical information.
量子多体理論から量子/古典情報理論を駆使して、物性物理向けの計算物理学的手法を開発しています。
広く物性理論を研究しています。特に、強相関電子系の理論を専門としています。(ただし対象は固体物性に限定しません。道下の興味も幅広いため、開放量子系や強化学習など様々な舞台で研究をしています。)
注目する物性を記述するための有効的な模型・解析手法の開拓と応答理論に興味を持って研究しています。
